Yen Bai Provincial People's Council passed 7 resolutions on the 2024 Land Law

NDO - On the afternoon of October 24, the People's Council of Yen Bai province, term XIX, 2021-2026, held the 20th session (special session) to decide on contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council reviewed, discussed and decided on a number of contents such as: Agreeing on the percentage to calculate the land rental price to pay annual land rent without auction, land rental price for underground construction, land rental price for land with water surface.

Regulations on preferential land rent exemption for projects using land for production and business purposes in investment incentive sectors (investment incentive industries and trades) or in investment incentive areas in the province.

Stipulate criteria for deciding to conduct bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land to ensure timely and effective implementation of the 2024 Land Law and detailed regulations. List of projects, households and individuals that need to change the purpose of using rice-growing land and production forest land to other purposes.

Based on the review of the submissions, draft resolutions and appraisal reports of the Provincial People's Council Committees; based on the provisions of current laws and the actual situation of the locality, the Provincial People's Council discussed and reached a high consensus, voting to pass 7 resolutions related to the 2024 Land Law.

This is an important legal basis for the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors to deploy and promptly resolve issues arising from practice; effectively perform state management and effectively use resources to accelerate the socio-economic development of Yen Bai.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Ta Van Long requested the Provincial People's Committee to promptly direct and implement the resolutions to ensure publicity, transparency, and compliance with legal regulations; direct relevant departments and branches to promptly guide and closely coordinate with districts, towns, cities, relevant agencies and units to seriously and effectively implement the resolutions passed by the Provincial People's Council. Continue inspection, examination and supervision to promptly detect and overcome limitations, difficulties and obstacles, ensuring that the resolutions are implemented synchronously and effectively.
