On the morning of March 30, the weather in the Hung Temple area (Phu Tho) had light rain, drizzle, and cold weather, but many people and tourists from all over the country made a pilgrimage to the homeland to offer incense to commemorate the Hung Kings, even though it was still more than a week until the Hung Kings' death anniversary.

From around 8am, the number of people and pilgrims to Hung Temple gradually increased.

The main parking lot next to the gate of Hung Temple Historical Site was also full of cars.

Due to the large number of people, the authorities have set up soft fences in the Cong Quan yard area to regulate people going to the temples.

At the same time, use loudspeakers to propagate to people to ensure security and safety when offering incense.

According to statistics from the Hung Kings' death anniversary organizing committee, on March 30, nearly 20,000 visitors came to Hung Temple to participate in the death anniversary activities.

Phu Tho Provincial Police said that although the number of people and vehicles is large, the work of regulating, guiding, and dividing traffic and car parking spots has been carefully and flexibly calculated by the Provincial Police, thanks to which traffic order and safety are always ensured, creating favorable conditions for people and tourists.

According to Phu Tho Provincial Police, to ensure absolute security and order on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary and the 2025 Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land, the Provincial Police have developed a plan and mobilized 1,000 officers and soldiers to protect the safety of events and tourists visiting Hung Temple.

Since the morning of March 29, Phu Tho Provincial Police have simultaneously deployed forces at nearly 200 checkpoints, areas, and routes in the Hung Temple historical relic site and in the cities of Viet Tri, Phu Ninh, and Lam Thao.

On the occasion of the Hung King's death anniversary in 2025, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers will have 3 consecutive days off because the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month falls on Monday (ie April 7th in the solar calendar), and the two adjacent Saturdays and Sundays are of course off.
