Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Phung Thanh Vinh inspected the progress of investment projects in Ky Son

On the afternoon of April 1, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of the Project to build a rigid bridge across Nam Mo River, connecting Huu Lap commune to Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son district).

Also attending were leaders of a number of provincial and district departments and agencies of Ky Son.

The project to build a rigid bridge across Nam Mo River, connecting Huu Lap commune to Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son district) has a total investment of nearly 49 billion VND from the central budget to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2025.

The scale of the project is to build a new permanent bridge with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete. The project includes: a bridge with a total length of nearly 150m and a bridge deck width of 7m; the roads at both ends of the bridge are designed according to the technical standards of grade V mountainous roads, the roadbed is 6.5m wide, the asphalt road surface is 3.5m wide, and the curbs on each side are reinforced 1m with the same structure as the road surface.

The project implementation progress is approved to be completed and put into use before December 31, 2025.

Up to this point, the project's progress has reached about 45% of the volume, including completion of 19/24 bored piles, 1/2 abutment base, abutment body; 2/3 pier base, bridge pier body; 2/4 bridge spans.

Through the inspection of the Project of Building a Hard Bridge across the Nam Mo River, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Ky Son district to urge the construction unit to speed up the progress, ensure the completion of the project on time, and proactively develop a plan to transfer project management level when the district-level activities are completed.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phung Thanh Vinh also requested Ky Son district to focus on urging the disbursement of public investment capital; speed up the construction progress of projects under national target programs in the area; focus on completing settlement records of completed works and projects, and not leave outstanding debts.
