Couple died unusually in rented room

On June 28, Binh Tan District Police coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's professional departments to investigate the case of a couple who died unexpectedly in a boarding house in the area.

Earlier, on the same morning, residents living in the boarding house on Chien Luoc Street and Lien Khu 16-18 Alley (Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) heard a noise. At this time, residents checked and saw a woman lying in front of her boarding house, with wounds on her body.

People called an ambulance to take the woman to the hospital, but she was already dead. When they checked the woman’s room, they discovered that the man was also dead, with wounds on his body.

Upon receiving the news, the police cordoned off the scene, examined the crime scene, and took statements from witnesses. Initially, the police determined that the two deceased were a husband and wife who were renting a room there.

Locals said the deceased couple had two daughters and had only recently moved here to rent a room. Relatives of both also rented a room nearby. The day before, locals heard the couple arguing.
