Hai Duong discovered 5 drivers tested positive for drugs

1,618 drivers participated in the health check and drug test.

From October 10-20, at Hai Duong International General Clinic, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee organized health check-ups and drug tests for drivers.

During the inspection, 1,618 drivers working at enterprises, cooperatives, and households transporting passengers and goods by car were tested for health and drugs. The results revealed 5 cases positive for drugs. These cases were all verified, investigated, and clarified.

This is the 9th year that the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee has organized health check-ups and drug testing for drivers.

The number of drivers testing positive for drugs has decreased over the years. In the 2023 inspection, Hai Duong detected 7 drivers testing positive for drugs. In the 2022 inspection, Hai Duong detected 11 drivers testing positive for drugs.
