Ha Tinh publishes 2 books on Truong Luu culture

The two books have introduced in a general and systematic way the heritage values ​​and contributions of famous people of Truong Luu ancient village (Kim Song Truong commune, Can Loc, Ha Tinh).

Two books on Truong Luu cultural heritage were published on this occasion.

On the occasion of the 310th anniversary of the birth of Doctorate Laureate Nguyen Huy Oanh (1713 - 2023), the 280th anniversary of the birth of the famous Nguyen Huy Tu (1743 - 2023), the 240th anniversary of the birth of the famous Nguyen Huy Ho (1783 - 2023) and receiving the Certificate of recognition of the Han Nom documents of Truong Luu village as a documentary heritage of the Memory of the World Program in the Asia - Pacific region, Ha Tinh province has chaired the publication of the book "Cultural Heritage of Truong Luu, from the countryside to the world" edited by Professor, Academician, Doctor Nguyen Huy My and "Truong Luu - Ha Tinh Literature, Literature of a Family" selected, introduced and edited by Doctor Nguyen Tung Linh.

With nearly 400 pages, "Truong Luu Cultural Heritage, from the countryside to the world" is published by Vinh University Publishing House. The book consists of 2 parts: Part A, "Current status of Truong Luu heritage" has 3 chapters introducing the tangible, intangible and documentary heritages of Truong Luu village, which outlines the outstanding features of the rich relic system, beautiful landscapes such as: Nguyen Huy Oanh, Nguyen Huy Tu, Nguyen Huy Ho, Nguyen Huy Vinh churches, Quan market morning, Han Thien pagoda...; intangible heritages such as: praying for the first, ky phuc, hat phuong vai...; documentary heritage of Hoang Hoa su trinh do, woodblocks of Phuc Giang School, Han Nom heritage collection.

Part B: "The journey to bring Truong Luu cultural heritage, from the countryside to the world" summarizes the process and research results of many scholars on Truong Luu cultural heritage from the past to the present, including 6 chapters: Research and promotion of the value of Truong Luu cultural heritage in the stages: before 2010, 2011-2013, 2014-2015, 2017-2018, 2018-2019; Truong Luu cultural heritage; to bring Truong Luu cultural heritage to the world.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh also published the book “Truong Luu Literature - Ha Tinh, Literature of a Family” with 308 pages published by Nghe An Publishing House. The book does not go into specific analysis and research but only collects, introduces and edits some additional information to clarify the values ​​and contributions of Truong Luu Literature in Vietnamese literature.

The special feature of "Truong Luu - Ha Tinh Literature, Literature of a Family" is that besides the articles introducing the value of works in the Truong Luu literature, the book also reprints and edits the three most prominent works of this literature genre, including: Huan Nu Tu Ca by Nguyen Huy Oanh, Hoa Tien by Nguyen Huy Tu and Mai Dinh Mong Ky by Nguyen Huy Ho. The book also collects and prints supplements of Nom script versions of the works.
