Accordingly, the Hanoi Department of Transport allows vehicles with 7 seats or less, two-wheeled motorbikes, three-wheeled motorbikes, motorbikes, rudimentary road vehicles and traffic participants to cross Trung Ha bridge at Km 64+639, National Highway 32.

Vehicles are allowed to travel in one lane in each direction, according to the designated lane and road section, and at a maximum speed of 20km/h. Vehicles are prohibited from stopping or parking on the bridge.
Trucks (with 3 axles or more) and passenger vans with more than 29 seats are prohibited from passing through Trung Ha Bridge.
For vehicles not allowed to pass through Trung Ha bridge, if vehicles go from Hanoi city to Viet Tri city, Phu Tho town and Lam Thao, Tam Nong, Phu Ninh, Thanh Ba, Doan Hung, Ha Hoa, Cam Khe districts, Hanoi Department of Transport guides the traffic diversion plan as follows:
First direction: From Hanoi, follow Nhat Tan bridge/Thang Long bridge - Vo Van Kiet/Vo Nguyen Giap street - Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway - exit at intersections IC7, IC8, IC9, IC10, IC11.
Second direction: From Hanoi, follow Nhat Tan Bridge/Thang Long Bridge - Vo Van Kiet/Vo Nguyen Giap Street - National Highway 2.
Third direction: From Hanoi, follow National Highway 32 - Son Tay town - Vinh Thinh bridge - National Highway 2C - National Highway 2.
Fourth direction: From Hanoi, follow National Highway 32 - Son Tay town - continue along National Highway 32 - Van Lang bridge - National Highway 2.
At the same time, vehicles from Hanoi city to Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son, Tan Son, Tam Nong, Yen Lap districts move in the following direction: From Hanoi city, follow Thang Long Avenue then enter Provincial Road 414. Continue across Dong Quang bridge and enter Provincial Road 317.
Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi), from September 9, 2024, to ensure traffic safety, the Hanoi Department of Transport banned all vehicles from traveling through Trung Ha bridge.
