Hanoi: Truck bursts into flames on Ring Road 3

(Dan Tri) - Authorities in Thanh Xuan District (Hanoi) are investigating a truck fire that occurred on the elevated Ring Road 3, near the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection.

On the evening of December 23, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Xuan District Police (Hanoi) informed that at around 6:00 p.m. the same day, on the elevated Ring Road 3 (near the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection), a truck fire broke out.

At the above time, truck with license plate 29C-557.xx was traveling in the direction of Khuat Duy Tien - Mai Dich. When reaching the intersection of Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai, the front of the vehicle suddenly caught fire.

After receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Xuan District Police dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and search and rescue.

"After a few minutes, the fire was extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Because the fire occurred during rush hour, traffic was congested," said the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thanh Xuan District Police.
