The Ethnic Committee received the functions, tasks and organization of the State management advisory apparatus on religion from the Department of Home Affairs; the task of poverty reduction from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to establish the Ethnic Committee - Religion.

Regarding streamlining the organizational apparatus, the Hanoi Party Committee proposed ending the activities of the Party Committee of the City's Agencies and the Party Committee of the City's Enterprises.
