Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Deputy Head of the Government's Project 06 Working Group, made the above comments at the conference on implementing key tasks of the Government's Project 06 in Hanoi on the afternoon of November 21.
Hanoi brings convenient facilities to people
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on behalf of the Government's Project 06 Working Group, highly appreciated and congratulated the results that Hanoi has achieved in the 19 key tasks of Project 06 in 2024 assigned to the City. This is also a great result of Hanoi in bringing convenient utilities to the people.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security also commented that the results of implementing Project 06 in Hanoi have contributed significantly to leading and inspiring other localities to implement Project 06, helping the Government and the Working Group to review the results of the past time and take steps to effectively implement the Project in the coming time.
The results of Hanoi's implementation of Project 06 also contribute to the formation of an administrative system in the direction of digital government, digital economy, digital society, forming habits for people to participate in the digital society in the future. Hanoi is also a pioneering, exemplary locality, taking the lead in implementing the tasks of Project 06.
Regarding difficulties and problems, the Working Group noted them to work with relevant ministries and branches to resolve them in the next steps.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security requested Hanoi City to continue focusing on the tasks of Project 06 and the tasks of national digital transformation in the coming time. In particular, there is a clear roadmap to complete the data by December 31, 2025 to reduce the time for granting civil status, issuing criminal records, etc. At the same time, the City People's Committee is requested to pay attention to and direct departments and branches so that within the staff there is full awareness, unity, and responsibility for implementing digital transformation; there is a roadmap, and increased inspection and supervision in implementation.
"Hanoi needs to be an exemplary, pioneering and leading locality in digital transformation in the coming time," the Deputy Minister of Public Security shared.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that the biggest result of implementing Project 06 in the city recently was changing the awareness of officials, especially leaders, about digital transformation.
In addition to the important results achieved, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee said: Currently, we have only digitized manual processes but have not yet thought about changing the hierarchical process. It is necessary to change the management method to be suitable, effective, and avoid waste.
Receiving the instructions of Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that members of the City Steering Committee quantify the value that people enjoy, which is the ultimate goal of the digital transformation and Project 06 of the Government.
People must enjoy the same services in different areas, gradually eliminating the gap between rich and poor, creating social justice.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that city units review their tasks to ensure the completion of 19 key tasks in 2024.

The cooperation content between the two sides includes 9 main tasks: Continue to implement the plan to digitize administrative procedures in effect in the City using technology and data warehouse of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order. Research and advise on the architectural framework of the electronic data warehouse of agencies, organizations and individuals on the City's Administrative Procedure Handling Information System to form a shared database system of the City.
Create a link to access citizens' paper wallets on the VNeID application and iHanoi application based on synchronization with the electronic data management warehouse of organizations and individuals on the City's administrative procedure settlement information system. Pilot implementation of public service provision via Kiosk to automatically receive results at Kiosk in Cau Giay, Ha Dong and Tay Ho branches.
Piloting the construction of an online public service reception channel on the VNeID application and iHanoi application for 30 public services.
Integrating bus ticket cards into VNeID and iHanoi applications. Researching and proposing solutions for integrating and authenticating electronic contact books on VNeID and iHanoi applications.
Research and pilot implementation of administrative procedures to provide information on construction planning and land use planning on VNeID and iHanoi applications.
Deploying popularization of skills in exploiting and using online public services and utilities on the VNeID application in Hanoi.
