Minister of Information and Communications welcomed Comrade Tran Cuong to visit and work in Vietnam right after assuming the position of Secretary of the Guangxi Regional Party Committee.
At the meeting, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung shared some of Vietnam's development orientations, identifying AI as one of the core technologies that need strong investment and development, in line with the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on science, technology and innovation development.... According to Minister Nguyen Manh Hung: Guangxi, with its strategic location and strong science and technology potential, can play an important bridging role in cooperation between Vietnam and China.

On the Guangxi side, Secretary Tran Cuong shared experiences in applying science and technology in economic development in localities such as Beijing and Guizhou. The Guangxi Secretary commented: Vietnam has great potential in the field of AI thanks to its developed manufacturing industry and talented engineers and scientists. According to Secretary Tran Cuong, cooperation between the two countries in high technology not only brings bilateral benefits but also contributes to the common development of the region.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to promote cooperation in areas such as AI research and development, technology transfer and digital human resource training, to promote innovation and application of high technology in practice, while creating conditions and supporting businesses of the two countries to connect, cooperate and implement joint projects.

These agreements will create a foundation for expanding cooperation in research, technology development and innovation application, contributing to strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future./.
