On the morning of April 19, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held a conference to review inspection and supervision work in the first quarter and deploy tasks for the second quarter of 2024.
Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Van Phuc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Vice Chairmen and members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; experts from departments and representatives of inspection committees of district, town, city and affiliated party committees.
The conference is an opportunity for inspection committees at all levels to further evaluate the inspection and supervision work in the province in recent times; review and evaluate the implementation of the evaluation of Project No. 16 - DA/TU dated December 11, 2020 of the Provincial Party Committee on "improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work; discussing tasks and solutions to improve the quality of inspection and supervision work; discussing and clarifying the coordination work between inspection committees at all levels...
According to the report of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, in the first quarter of 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and the inspection commissions of the Party committees at all levels under the Provincial Party Committee promptly led and directed the revision and supplementation of the inspection and supervision work program for the entire term and in 2024; thoroughly grasped and fully and promptly implemented the directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, documents, decisions and regulations of the Party on inspection and supervision work; effectively carried out the propaganda and dissemination of inspection and supervision work; organized the implementation of the inspection and supervision work program for the first quarter of 2024 according to the set plan to ensure progress and time; the inspection and supervision work programs for 2024 were developed, adjusted and supplemented to suit the actual conditions of localities and units.
The inspection and supervision work in the first quarter of 2024 was deployed synchronously from the province to the grassroots level, helping the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels go into depth.
Party committees at all levels have inspected 42 party organizations (93% compared to the same period) and 197 party members (67% compared to the same period); inspected 5 party organizations and 14 party members when there were signs of violations (85% compared to the same period). The inspection concluded that 4 party organizations and 14 party members had violations, of which 9 party members had to be considered for disciplinary action, and 5 party members were disciplined.
Regarding thematic supervision, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission is currently conducting thematic supervision of 1 party organization and 2 party members; Party committees and inspection commissions at district and grassroots levels have conducted thematic supervision of 81 party organizations and 225 party members.
In addition, the Inspection Committees at all levels received 24 denunciations and complaints against party members. The content of the denunciations and complaints related to the implementation of the principle of democratic centralism, working regulations, working regimes, things party members are not allowed to do; land sector; procedures for handling denunciations; policies and regimes; other fields... Of which, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee received 14 petitions, resulting in 3 petitions being transferred to competent agencies for settlement, 11 petitions being filed; the district-level and equivalent inspection committees received 10 petitions, resulting in a team being established to handle 1 petition, 6 petitions being filed.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the results of the inspection and supervision work in the first quarter and tasks for the second quarter of 2024. At the same time, they pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the inspection and supervision program.
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Nguyen Van Phuc requested Party committees, Party organizations and inspection committees at all levels, especially leaders, to further improve awareness, responsibility and be proactive and determined in leading, directing, organizing the implementation of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work to well perform the assigned tasks; successfully complete the targets of Project No. 16 - DA/TU dated December 11, 2020 of the Provincial Party Committee on "improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement work; improving the quality of inspection and focusing on key contents; strengthening coordination; focusing on thoroughly handling petitions, denunciations and reflections...
