During this adjustment period, the prices of oil products increased from 287 to 530 VND. Specifically, diesel increased by 514 VND/liter, reaching 19,524 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 530 VND/liter, reaching 20,494 VND/liter; fuel oil increased by 287 VND/kg, reaching 15,265 VND/kg.
Thus, after 5 consecutive decreases, gasoline prices have increased again since the new management mechanism was applied.
In this adjustment, the management agency set aside a price stabilization fund of VND300/kg but did not set aside a fund for other gasoline and oil products. At the same time, the operator continued not to spend the fund on all gasoline and oil products.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, world oil prices have fluctuated in recent days, leading to an increase in domestic energy prices.
