Gasoline prices increased by nearly 400 VND/liter

Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased to VND20,032/liter, RON95 gasoline increased to VND20,424/liter. Diesel price increased by VND324/liter, not higher than VND18,217/liter. Kerosene price increased by VND406/liter, not higher than VND18,524/liter.

As in the previous period, the price of fuel oil alone decreased by 53 VND/kg, not higher than 16,902 VND/kg.

During this operating period, the management agency continues to not set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for any products.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this operating period (from March 20 to March 26) is affected by key factors such as: US crude oil and fuel inventories decrease, the US plans to impose taxes on goods of countries buying oil from Venezuela, the US dollar strengthens, OPEC+ is likely to continue its plan to increase oil production...

The above factors have mainly caused the world oil price to fluctuate upward in recent days.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on March 20 and the adjustment period on March 27 was: 81.016 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (up 1.682 USD/barrel); 82.308 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 1.554 USD/barrel); 86.304 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 2.098 USD/barrel); 85.760 USD/barrel of diesel oil (up 1.624 USD/barrel); 459.602 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 3.010 USD/ton).

Previously, in the adjustment period on March 20, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 414 VND/liter, not higher than 19,695 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 438 VND/liter, not higher than 20,087 VND/liter.

Prices of petroleum products fluctuated in different directions. Of which, diesel oil decreased by 5 VND/liter, not higher than 17,893 VND/liter. Fuel oil price also decreased by 40 VND/kg, not higher than 16,955 VND/kg. Kerosene price increased by 28 VND/liter, not higher than 18,118 VND/liter.

Since the beginning of 2025, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 13 adjustment sessions, including 5 decreases, 5 increases and 3 opposite sessions.
