Late this afternoon, the price of gold rings at Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) was listed at 72.9-74.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Compared to yesterday's closing price, the price of gold rings at PNJ today increased by 200 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling.

Similarly, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) increased the price of gold rings by VND100,000/tael in both directions compared to the previous session's closing price, listing the price of 1-5 chi gold rings in Ho Chi Minh City at VND72.9-74.5 million/tael (buy - sell).

Meanwhile, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group today kept the buying price unchanged and reduced the selling price by VND50,000/tael for 9999 smooth round ring gold compared to yesterday's closing price, listing the end of the session at VND73.7-74.9 million/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company today kept the price of Thang Long gold ring at the same level as yesterday's closing price, trading at 73.68-74.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

The difference between the buying and selling price of gold rings of brands currently fluctuates between 1.2-1.4 million VND per tael.

The price of SJC gold bars has remained "unchanged" for many days. On June 13, major gold companies such as SJC, Doji, and PNJ listed the price of SJC gold bars at 74.98-76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Today, the price of SJC gold bars announced by 4 state-owned commercial banks including Agribank, BIDV, Vietcombank and VietinBank continues to maintain the old level, 76.98 million VND/tael. This is the 6th consecutive session that the price of SJC gold bars sold by these banks is 76.98 million VND/tael.

In the world market , gold prices turned down sharply despite the USD plummeting after the US announced economic data.

Early morning of June 13 (Vietnam time), the US Federal Reserve (Fed) announced to keep interest rates unchanged for the 7th consecutive time, at the highest level in 23 years and signaled that there will be only 1 interest rate cut this year in the context of inflation still far from the target level.

After the above information was announced, the world gold price turned to plummet. In the previous session, the gold price increased quite strongly due to high buying power when the consumer price index cooled down in May.

At 5:05 p.m. on June 13 (Vietnam time), the spot gold price was at 2,316.7 USD/ounce, down 11.3 USD/ounce compared to last night.

World gold converted at the current exchange rate at Vietcombank is nearly 71.1 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).

Compared to the world gold price, each tael of SJC gold bar is 5.88 million VND/tael more expensive than the world price, while the price of SJC gold rings is 3.4 million VND/tael higher.

Gold ring prices fluctuated . Domestic gold ring prices today (June 12) fluctuated. While some brands increased their selling prices sharply, others maintained their prices or even adjusted them down.
