Coffee prices rise sharply again
Coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces have increased sharply again, increasing from 3,000 to 3,300 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average purchase price is at 121,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 121,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 119,300 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 121,000 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 121,000 VND/kg.
In the world market, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor tend to increase sharply, fluctuating between 5030 - 4831 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for May 2025 is 5030 USD/ton; the delivery price for July 2025 is 4964 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 4902 USD/ton and the delivery price for November 2025 is 4831 USD/ton.
Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of April 11 showed a recovery trend, returning to green and increasing compared to the previous decline, increasing by 2.3 - 2.9 cents/lb, fluctuating between 334.35 - 344.6 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 is 344.6 cents/lb; the delivery period in July 2025 is 343.25 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 339.3 cents/lb and the delivery period in December 2025 is 334.35 cents/lb.
The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee fluctuated between 417 and 473 USD/ton compared to yesterday's trading session. It was recorded as follows: the May 2025 delivery period was 473 USD/ton; the July 2025 delivery period was 426.05 USD/ton; the September 2025 delivery period was 423.55 USD and the December 2025 delivery period was 417 USD/ton.
Domestic pepper prices recover slightly
Domestic pepper prices recovered slightly today, increasing from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average pepper purchase price in key areas is 149,200 VND/kg.
Specifically, today's pepper price in Gia Lai province increased slightly, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently the pepper purchase price in this locality is at 148,000 VND/kg.
Similarly, pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau also increased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently pepper is purchased at 149,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price in Binh Phuoc increased by 1,000 VND compared to the previous trading session, currently pepper price is purchased at 149,000 VND/kg.
Dak Lak and Dak Nong pepper prices increased again compared to yesterday, an increase of 2,000 VND/kg, currently the pepper purchase price in these two localities is at the same level of 150,000 VND/kg.
In the world market, pepper prices are stable.
Specifically, the International Pepper Association listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,078 USD/ton; similarly, Muntok white pepper is currently purchased at 9,710 USD/ton.
The Malaysian pepper market remained stable compared to the most recent trading session. Currently, the price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper is purchased at 9,850 USD/ton and the price of ASTA white pepper is at 12,300 USD/ton.
Pepper prices in Brazil have stabilized after previous declines, with the current purchase price reaching $6,800/ton.
Vietnam's pepper export market has not changed compared to yesterday. Specifically, the export price of Vietnam's black pepper is currently at 6,600 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l is at 6,800 USD/ton and the price of white pepper is at 9,600 USD/ton.
