In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice is at 440 USD/ton; 5% broken rice is at 575 USD/ton, up 5 USD; 25% broken rice is at 539 USD/ton, up 3 USD.

Data from the Vietnam Food Association (VFA) shows that Vietnamese rice prices are increasing in the opposite direction to those of its competitors, Thailand and Pakistan. On August 15, Vietnam's 5% broken rice exports were traded at $575 per ton, $14 per ton higher than those of Thailand and $34 per ton higher than those of Pakistan. Similarly, Vietnam's 25% broken rice exports also increased to $539 per ton, $27 per ton and $22 per ton higher than those of Thailand and Pakistan, respectively.

Compared to the world's top rice exporting countries, Vietnamese rice exports are the most expensive. In the domestic market, rice prices have also recovered in recent weeks, helping farmers earn a good income.

According to VFA, the average export price of Vietnamese rice is very high.
