Nghe An has a large system of relics and scenic spots with a total of 2,062 inventoried relics; of which 480 relics have been ranked, including 6 special national relics; 145 national relics and 329 provincial relics.

However, the Director of the Department of Culture and Sports admitted that the exploitation and development of this type of tourism is not commensurate with its potential and the biggest difficulty is the lack of resources. To solve this problem, the industry has built and focused on implementing 7 heritage areas with unique products; in addition to the Sen Village Festival and the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, it continues to exploit heritages related to the Nghe Tinh Soviets...

Along with that is the interest in developing spiritual tourism, because in the province, relics and heritages with spiritual elements account for about 95%, including outstanding relics such as Emperor Quang Trung Temple, Ong Hoang Muoi Temple, Con Temple, Bach Ma Temple...

Along with the responsibility of the Department of Culture and Sports, the Director of the Department also suggested the need to digitize the stilt house architecture so that when conditions permit, they can be restored, creating conditions for tourism development.

Responding to the issue raised by the delegates, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Pham Van Hoa informed: Implementing the Project on developing souvenir products and goods to serve tourists in the province, period 2019-2025, the whole province currently has over 600 products and goods to serve as gifts and souvenirs and organizes 6 booths to display and introduce products.

The Director of the Department of Industry and Trade admitted that although the quantity of goods is large, diverse and rich in types and grades; there are not many products with scientific and technological content, cultural and historical value, especially there are no typical products of Nghe An.

The solution to overcome this situation is to continue reviewing to have policies and mechanisms; because souvenirs and gifts are special products, so there must be special methods, ways and mechanisms to promote them. Along with that, it is necessary to pay attention to promoting the creativity of the whole society, taking advantage of the participation and contribution of artisans inside and outside the province.

Nearly 70% of tourism human resources have only primary training.

Responding to the question of delegate Phan Thi Minh Ly (Yen Thanh district constituency) about the lack and weakness of tourism resources, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Bui Van Hung admitted that this is a reality.

The reason is that the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the labor structure, including the tourism sector; tourism activities are irregular labor sectors, affecting the attraction of committed human resources.

In addition, the number of human resources participating in tourism training in the province in recent times is quite large, in the period of 2021 - 2023, the total number is more than 8,100, however, the quality of training is still limited, of the total number trained, nearly 70% of people received 3-month primary training. The connection between tourism businesses and the Employment Promotion Center and training facilities is still limited.
