Millions of Hanoi residents can look up their electricity consumption on the capital's electricity industry application thanks to the digital transformation process of EVN Hanoi.
Hanoi Electricity Corporation currently has more than 2.8 million customers. According to statistics, the EVNHANOI application records more than 70,000 visits per month. Customers can track their family's electricity consumption by day and month anytime, anywhere. At the same time, the non-cash payment service application also reaches more than 99% of the total payment volume, helping businesses accelerate the digital transformation process.
"Proactively controlling electricity consumption not only helps customers use electricity more efficiently, saving electricity costs, but also contributes to ensuring national energy security," said a representative of Hanoi Electricity Corporation.

Using the electricity consumption tracking application for more than a year, Ms. Le Thu Thuy (Cau Giay - Hanoi) can easily control her family's electricity consumption no matter where she is. The worry of forgetting to pay or paying late bills no longer haunts her because every month, the bill sends a notification directly to her phone.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Head of an electrical engineering company in Hanoi, said that his company regularly accesses the EVNHANOI app to monitor its electricity consumption because the company consumes a large amount of electricity. According to him, the electricity industry's app is very intuitive and easy for customers to use. Instead of having to call the switchboard or only update the phone number on regular days, now all problems are resolved through the app.
To download and use the app, customers just need to search for the keyword "EVNHANOI" on the App store (for iOS operating system) and Google Play (for Android operating system) to their mobile device or download it via the link. After successfully logging in, users select the "Look up meter index" feature. In this function, customers can monitor the index on the electricity meter to know the daily and monthly electricity consumption of their family. Customers can also estimate the electricity consumption in their daily life or know how many kWh each household electrical appliance consumes each month.

In the EVNHANOI application, customers select "Help", select "Estimated power consumption of devices" and provide information on the quantity and type of household electrical appliances in use such as: electric stoves, refrigerators, lighting, air conditioners, washing machines... and the frequency, level, and habits of using those devices. Based on the data provided, the tool will automatically estimate the amount of electricity consumed by each device each month. This tool also indicates the device that consumes the most electricity in the month, helping people adjust their usage habits effectively and economically.
The EVNHANOI App was launched in 2021 and is a completely free mobile application of Hanoi Electricity Corporation. The application helps customers look up information on electricity services quickly and accurately. When installing the application, customers can use utilities such as: viewing and receiving notifications about electricity meter readings, electricity bills, payment status...; viewing and receiving notifications about power outage schedules, electricity meter reading schedules...
