At the beautiful age of her life, new graduate Le Thi Kieu Oanh, born in 2001, put aside her personal affairs and volunteered to join the army.

At the beautiful age of her life, new graduate Le Thi Kieu Oanh (born in 2001, residing in Ninh An quarter, Ninh Son ward, Tay Ninh city) with a degree from the Faculty of Library Information of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City, but temporarily put aside her personal affairs, volunteered to write an application to join the army. With the desire to contribute and serve the Fatherland, Oanh is one of 3 female recruits of Tay Ninh province who volunteered to join the army in 2024. Before joining the army, Kieu Oanh took the opportunity to help her parents with some housework and clean the ancestral altar. Kieu Oanh confided that since she was little, she liked the military environment but thought it would be difficult for a girl to do it. Therefore, as soon as she knew that the locality had a quota for women, Oanh did not hesitate to write an application to volunteer to join the army and was selected for military service. Kieu Oanh happily shared that for her, the military environment is an extremely beneficial school for her to strive to overcome herself, strive and believe that this will be the best opportunity to train herself, help her mature and live a more useful life. Confiding in her parents about her decision made both parents, who are teachers, surprised and worried, but also happy because her legitimate wish had come true.

Mr. Le Van Sang, Kieu Oanh's father, said that he was initially surprised when he heard that his daughter wanted to join the army. Because up to now, in the locality, he rarely heard of girls volunteering to join the army, because the military environment is not easy at all. But seeing his daughter's determination, as a parent like him, he felt warm and supported her, confident that she would quickly adapt to become a useful person for the country and society. Two brothers Tran Binh Thuan and Tran Binh Dinh.

Also in Ninh Son ward, these days, the house of two brothers Tran Binh Thuan (born in 2004) and Tran Binh Dinh (born in 2005) has become warmer. Because representatives of local leaders, organizations and neighbors came to visit and encourage the two new soldiers who are eagerly waiting for the day to join the army. During the military recruitment last year, Thuan could not join the army, so as soon as he received the call for his younger brother to join the army, Thuan immediately told his parents about his wish to join the army with his brother. Mrs. Vu Thi Nga (47 years old), mother of the two brothers Binh Thuan and Binh Dinh, is one of the people who urged and encouraged her two children to join the army with peace of mind. Mrs. Nga said that from the beginning, she supported and welcomed her two children to join the army. According to Mrs. Nga, this is a citizen's duty to fulfill for the country, and is the best training environment for her two children to strive and mature. Binh Thuan boasted that joining the army was the biggest wish of his life that had initially come true. If given the opportunity, he would try harder to serve long-term in the military environment.
Talking about these special examples of military service in the locality, Deputy Commander of the Ninh Son Ward Military Command Nguyen Bao Kha said that this year, the ward has 41 young people who passed the recruitment exam. But the most special thing is that Kieu Oanh is the only female recruit in Tay Ninh city who voluntarily wrote an application to join the army. Besides, there is the case of a mother who supported and encouraged both her children to join the army. Twin brothers put aside their personal matters and volunteered to join the army.

Twin brothers To Thanh Trung and To Thanh Hieu, born in 2005, living in quarter 1, ward 1, Tay Ninh city.

Also in Tay Ninh city, before the military service day, the small house in alley 23, Tran Hung Dao street, in neighborhood 1, Ward 1, of the family of twin brothers To Thanh Trung and To Thanh Hieu (born in 2005) was equally bustling. Both were born into a traditional family with a grandfather who was a 45-year Party member, and a father who was a demobilized soldier. Both brothers temporarily put aside their stable-income jobs to fulfill their military service. Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, mother of Trung and Hieu, said that the family considers this both a source of pride and a responsibility of a citizen to the Fatherland. Trung and Hieu both excitedly said that this was probably the best time for the two brothers to decide to join the army. Because right now, both brothers are looking forward to the day they put on their military uniforms, ready to overcome all difficulties and challenges to train themselves to become more mature. Visiting and encouraging the family of the twin brothers, Mr. Hua Hung Phong, Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Ward 1, Tay Ninh City, said that this is a rare case in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army for many years in the locality. This shows that the family and the two young men have a deep awareness of the task of protecting the Fatherland. This is also a part of the result of the propaganda work of the Law on Military Service which has been widely deployed from the grassroots. The act of writing a voluntary application to join the army this time by the twin brothers Trung and Hieu is of great significance, contributing to spreading the spirit of readiness to contribute and demonstrating the responsibility of young people of military service age. At the same time, this will also be a motivation for many young people of military service age to be more steadfast, following the tradition of their ancestors, contributing to building and defending the Fatherland.
