According to the rankings just announced by FIFA in April, the Vietnamese women's futsal team has not changed its ranking in the continent and the world. However, with good results in the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Qualifiers, the Vietnamese women's futsal team has accumulated an additional 15.32 points.

The 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship Qualifiers held in Myanmar in January 2025 was the most recent tournament that coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team participated in. In this qualifying round, Vietnam's women's futsal finished first in Group D with a resounding 5-1 victory over Myanmar's women's futsal and a 2-2 draw with Chinese Taipei.

With this achievement, the Vietnamese women's futsal team currently has 1135.7 points, continuing to hold 4th place in the Asian rankings and 11th in the world.

The first position in Asia belongs to the Thai women's futsal team (5th in the world), followed by Iran (9th in the world) and Japan (10th in the world).

In the world arena, the top 4 positions have not changed, still belonging to Brazil, Spain, Portugal and Argentina.

The national women's futsal team is gathering at District 8 Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City, preparing for the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Finals taking place in May 2025. The Vietnamese team's opponents will be Iran, the Philippines and Hong Kong (China).
