The Urban Committee of the People's Council of Da Nang City has just announced the opinion of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council requesting the City People's Committee to direct relevant units to maintain the care and maintenance of the Tet flower street and some highlights in the area to continue serving people and tourists to enjoy the spring until the end of February 24 (Tet Nguyen Tieu). The Urban Committee said that in the first days of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, according to statistics, the total number of tourists in Da Nang city increased sharply, estimated at about 402,000 visitors, an increase of 37% over the same period in 2023. This is a positive signal, signaling a prosperous year, developing the tourism industry in particular and the city's economy and society in general. In addition to the city's famous destinations, the Tet flower street along both banks of the Han River is a place that attracts many tourists to visit and check-in.
According to the wishes of voters and the city's goal of serving tourists, the city will continue to maintain and extend the display time, flower decoration, and lighting in the above areas. The Standing Committee of the City People's Council proposed to maintain the flower street and highlights to serve people and tourists to enjoy the Spring Festival of Giap Thin 2024. Organize widespread information for people and tourists to know and visit, and at the same time have a plan to take advantage of some items to decorate in public places.

It is known that for the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the People's Committee of Da Nang City invested nearly 20 billion VND to implement 15 flower decoration positions and 6 lighting decoration positions. Da Nang Tet Flower Street was completed before February 7 (December 28, Quy Mao year) and was initially expected to be organized to serve people to visit and enjoy until February 19, 2024 (January 10, Giap Thin year).
