Ganh Den is located in An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province. Ganh Den lighthouse is simply a beacon to help ships operating in Phu Yen waters navigate their way into and out of Xuan Dai bay.

In particular, the lighthouse's lights can illuminate a distance of about 17 nautical miles. It can be said that Ganh Den lighthouse is like a silent hero who is not afraid of sun, rain, storms to be able to complete the task of protecting fishermen safely at sea.

The reason this place was first called Ganh Da Den is because it was made up of earth-colored rocks lying close together and stacked on top of each other, running along the vast coastline. After the lighthouse was built here with the purpose of supporting fishermen in operating their boats at night, people gave it a more favorable name, Ganh Den.

At each time of the day, Ganh Den lighthouse will put on a unique and distinct scene. Sometimes it is poetic and gentle, but sometimes it is both wild and attractive, making many people constantly admire.

According to travel experience, Ganh Den is most beautiful at sunset or at night. The sunset scene with sunlight reflecting on large rocks creates a beautiful color effect, never disappointing visitors.

If you have taken the time to visit Ganh Den lighthouse, remember to stay a little longer to enjoy the rich sea scent, the cool blue sky and the gentle sound of the waves.

Stretching along the coastline for about 1km, Ganh Den is made up of light pink rocks lying close together, stacked randomly. If viewed from afar, it is no different from a natural masterpiece sketched by the skillful hands of a talented artist.

In addition, smooth rocks of various sizes lie jaggedly, creating many small holes. Interspersed with large rocks here are large sea urchin trees with latent vitality, existing for many years.

Besides, the large open spaces at the foot of the lighthouse are also considered ideal locations for you to organize picnics and camping. What could be better than having fun at a rocky cape with poetic natural scenery.

The towering lighthouse

Standing out on the wild rocky cliffs is the image of Ganh Den lighthouse with two main colors of white and red, towering in the sky with a height of 10 m and about 22 m above sea level. Although it does not possess outstanding and unique architectural features, Ganh Den lighthouse is in the top 79 lighthouses in Vietnam, leaving a deep impression on many tourists.

The natural picture with large and small islands and rocky cliffs in the south of Xuan Dai Bay blending together has "painted" a peaceful scene, where you can freely breathe in the fresh air and admire the liberal sound of the ocean.

Romantic night scene

When night falls, the natural picture becomes poetic and majestic. In the middle of the wild nature, the night sky of Ganh Den is like a galaxy full of sparkling, magical stars.
