The Standing Committee of Long An Provincial People's Council, together with the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, held a conference to review the implementation of the coordination regulations for work in 2024. The conference was co-chaired by Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial People's Council - Mai Van Nhieu; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - Do Thanh Hung.
Over the past year, the coordination between the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has become increasingly close. Notably, the activities of supervision and contact with voters have become more diverse in form, more focused on quality, and focused on issues that voters are interested in and concerned about, as over the past year, there have been over 1,100 meetings. Voters' opinions and recommendations are classified, compiled and sent to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution. In addition, issues arising between two sessions of the People's Council are also promptly and appropriately resolved by the three agencies in coordination.
At the conference, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing solutions to improve coordination efficiency in 2025, especially coordination in collecting public opinions on amending the 2013 Constitution, on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units; citizen reception, handling complaints and denunciations; fighting against corruption, waste, negativity, etc.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Long An province commended collectives and individuals with good achievements in advising on the implementation of the Coordination Regulations of 03 agencies in 2024 and collectives and individuals with achievements in winning the 3rd Dien Hong Award - 2025.
