Accordingly, the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will take place solemnly at 8:00 a.m. on April 30 on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with more than 13,000 participants.
The parade of 35 armed forces will be jointly carried out by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, while the parade will be undertaken by Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to the 11 marching groups as instructed by the Central Government, Ho Chi Minh City has proposed adding a group of overseas Vietnamese.
Ms. Thuy said that preparations for the parade are being carried out closely and synchronously, closely following the Central Government's instructions.
Previously, the Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to conduct a field survey and agree on a draft program for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Regarding the preparations for the Anniversary, Ms. Thuy said that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee will directly preside over and coordinate the implementation of 8 activities, including the Ceremony to pay respect to heroic martyrs at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery scheduled to be held at 8:00 a.m. on April 29; organizing national and city-level scientific seminars; thematic exhibitions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; organizing live television broadcasts of cultural, artistic and sports activities for people nationwide to follow...
