In the early morning of January 5, at the top of Fansipan (Sa Pa, Lao Cai), the temperature dropped to 0 degrees Celsius, causing water vapor to condense, forming a layer of ice covering the wooden floor and grass on the top of the mountain. This is the third time this winter that frost has appeared on Fansipan, after the periods on November 23, 2024 and December 23, 2024. However, this is the thickest ice cover since the beginning of winter 2024, and is also the 6th consecutive day that frost has appeared on Fansipan.
