Thai Nguyen tourism season 2025 with the theme "Experience the land of tea with rich identity"

The above information was announced by Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen at the Conference on promoting tourism in Thai Nguyen province in 2025 held on the afternoon of April 1 in Hanoi.

The conference was held to develop tourism products associated with tea culture and the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen railway route; at the same time, promote and introduce the potential, strengths, attractive destinations, tourism products, unique culture and cuisine of Thai Nguyen province on the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen railway route.

This is also an opportunity for Thai Nguyen to promote and cooperate in building tourism products, attract investment in the tourism sector, and promote the image of Thai Nguyen tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.

According to Mr. Le Ngoc Linh, in order to promote and advertise tourist destinations, this April, Thai Nguyen will organize the Culture, Sports and Tourism Week and the Opening Program of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Season 2025 with many attractive activities such as: Operating a tourist train from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen; organizing a Famtrip delegation to survey Thai Nguyen tourist destinations; street art programs; cultural activities serving the development of the night economy; exhibition space, introducing and promoting tourism products, "Thai Nguyen culinary quintessence" and performing intangible culture, introducing and promoting OCOP products, typical agricultural products of Thai Nguyen province associated with tourism promotion; hosting national-scale sports competitions, international exchanges...

Especially at 8:00 p.m. on April 26 at Van Xuan Square, Pho Yen city, Thai Nguyen, the opening program of Thai Nguyen Province Tourism Season 2025 with the theme "Experience the land of tea with rich identity" will take place.

At the conference, representatives of the Thai Nguyen Tourism Association introduced a number of tour programs connecting Hanoi and Thai Nguyen. In addition, delegates made proposals for the Thai Nguyen tourism industry to develop unique products to attract tourists, including tourism products associated with tea culture and the Hanoi-Thai Nguyen railway.

Mr. Ho Xuan Phuc, Director of Hanoi Tourism, Trade and Investment Joint Stock Company (Hanotours), said that Thai Nguyen needs to design tourism products to highlight tea culture, and at the same time, it needs the participation of entertainment venues, accommodation facilities, and food service businesses in the province. In addition, the province also needs to promote communication activities so that tourism products reach the general public.

Within the framework of the event, guests were able to visit and experience booths introducing OCOP specialties and Thai Nguyen cuisine.

It is known that from the beginning of the year until now, the total number of tourists to Thai Nguyen has reached 1.3 million, an increase of 29.7% compared to the plan and an increase of 10.5% compared to the same period in 2024. Revenue from tourism activities in the area is estimated at 400 billion VND, an increase of 14% over the same period last year.
