
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thanh Ha district, this year's lychee output is expected to reach 38,000 tons, an increase of 13,000 tons compared to last year. Due to favorable weather, the flowering and fruiting process of lychee is better than in previous years.
Currently, specialized departments have not detected widespread diseases on lychee trees, only inchworms and nest rollers scattered on medium lychee and lychee tea but not significantly. The lychee tea is in the fruit setting process. Farmers in Thanh Ha district are actively taking care of, preventing pests and diseases, and watering and moistening the lychee trees during the cold and dry weather.
Thanh Ha district currently has 3,285 hectares of lychee. The entire district maintains 167 lychee area codes eligible for export, 7 packaging facilities with 20 licensed export packaging facility codes. Currently, there are more than 200 hectares of lychee produced according to VietGAP standards in Thanh Ha, with the province supporting funding for assessment and certification, and supporting biological organic fertilizers.
