Competing from July 20, Thanh Hoa's young Muay players excellently won 3rd place overall in the 18-20 age group at the 2023 National Youth Muay Championship.

This year, the tournament attracted more than 278 athletes, young martial artists with good achievements from 28 units, clubs, provinces and cities competing at the Quang Ninh Sports Complex.
According to the assessment of the Organizing Committee of this year's tournament, there are many participating delegations with a large number of athletes, many strong delegations and localities with traditions such as: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Thai Nguyen, Vung Tau, Army, Binh Phuoc... The tournament will start competing and opening from July 20.
Over the years, the Thanh Hoa Muay Thai team has always been highly regarded as it has consistently been ranked among the top teams in the country. This year, the team is entering a transition period as many young athletes have matured and achieved very good results. However, there are also young players who need more time to develop to achieve better results.
In the 18-20 age group, the Thanh Hoa Muay Thai team won all four finals they participated in. Nguyen Thi Huong (67kg), Nguyen Thi Hien Luong (51kg), Pham Hung Hai (81kg) and Ha Viet Hieu (86kg) were the outstanding gold medalists.
Along with Ha Thi Hoai's bronze medal, Thanh Hoa Muay Team ended the tournament with 4 gold medals and 1 bronze medal, thereby winning 3rd place overall.
Ha Viet Hieu won gold medal in the 86kg weight class, age group 18-20.
Hien Luong (left) - one of the athletes who has shown remarkable progress recently, won a gold medal in the 51kg weight class.
In the 15-17 age group, the only athlete to win a bronze medal for Thanh Hoa was Nguyen Van Dung (45kg category).

However, this year, in addition to the athletes who have matured and achieved very good results, there are also young players who need more time to develop in order to aim for higher goals in the next tournaments.
