On December 21, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the implementation of Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently".

At the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Dao Van Phuoc approved the plan to reorganize the political system in the province.
Accordingly, the plan to arrange Party organizations is as follows:
End of activities of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies, the Party Committee of Provincial Enterprises and end of activities of Party executive committees and Party delegations.
Establish Party committees of Party agencies, unions, People's Councils, and provincial judiciary directly under the Provincial Party Committee.
Establishment of provincial government party committee under the Provincial Party Committee.
Transferring the Party Committee of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation to the Party Committee of Vietnam Rubber Group.
Plan for arranging agencies and units :
At the provincial level , continue to maintain 4 agencies: Provincial Party Committee Organization Board, Provincial Party Committee Internal Affairs Board, Provincial Party Committee Office and Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee.
Merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.
Maintain the organizational structure of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, the provincial Women's Union, the provincial Farmers' Association, the provincial Veterans' Association and the Provincial Party Committee.
Merge Dong Nai Radio - Television Station, Dong Nai Newspaper and take over the tasks of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Electronic Information Portal, Dong Nai Provincial Electronic Information Portal to form Dong Nai Information and Press Center.
Regarding the organizational arrangement of the provincial and district government apparatus:
Continue to maintain 5 departments and branches: Department of Justice; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Provincial Inspectorate; Provincial Industrial Park Management Board; Management Board of High-tech Biotechnology Park.
Merge the following departments: Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance; Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Transport and the Department of Construction (transforming the Office of the Traffic Safety Committee into an organization under the Department of Construction and Transport); Department of Information and Communications, Department of Science and Technology; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and Department of Home Affairs.
Transfer the Religious Affairs Committee under the Department of Home Affairs and the functions and tasks of poverty reduction from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to merge into the Ethnic Affairs Committee.
Receive the original status of the Provincial Market Management Department under the General Department of Market Management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and reorganize it into the Market Management Department, under the Department of Industry and Trade.
Merge the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office.
For public service units under the Provincial People's Committee , Dong Nai Cultural and Natural Reserve; Dong Nai University and Dong Nai Medical College remain intact.
Establish the Provincial Land Fund Development Center (officially operational from January 1, 2025).
Merge Dong Nai Technical College and Dong Nai High Technology College. Merge the Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board. Transfer Dong Nai Publishing House to the Department of Science, Technology and Communications.
For the district level , the Provincial Steering Committee on Streamlining the apparatus has also proposed a plan to closely follow the Central Government's policies and guidelines and to suit the practical situation at the grassroots level.
Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh delivered a concluding speech at the conference.
Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested that units subject to merger and consolidation at this time need to do better in ideological work among cadres, civil servants, and individuals to accept sacrifices for the common good to complete the political tasks of the province in particular and the country in general.
The apparatus after the arrangement must immediately go into continuous operation, without any vacancy, interruption, or delay, and without affecting the normal life of the people and the production and business of the enterprise.

The province focuses on realizing plans to promote the restructuring of the apparatus in the coming time towards streamlining, compactness, strength, efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
