Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai holds the position of Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 1075/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the appointment of the position of Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to appoint comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee, to hold the position of Head of the Delegation Work Committee of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee.

The Resolution takes effect from the date of signing, June 25.

Previously, also on June 25, the 15th National Assembly passed a resolution to elect comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province, as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee for the 2021-2026 term, with 449/450 delegates participating in the vote in favor.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai was born on October 2, 1970; hometown: Hang Bai ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi; political theory level: advanced; professional level: Associate Professor, Doctor of Physics.

He is a member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms; Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province; delegate of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province, 14th term (2021-2026 term); delegate of the National Assembly, 13th, 14th and 15th terms; Vice Chairwoman of the Group of Female National Assembly Deputies.

During his career, he held the following positions: Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Office; Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Committee on Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children of the 13th National Assembly; Head of the Petition Committee of the 14th National Assembly Standing Committee; Chairman of the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Parliamentarians' Group.

From June 2020 to present, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai is a member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms; a delegate to the 14th and 15th National Assembly; Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen Province; a delegate to the People's Council of Thai Nguyen Province, 14th term (2021-2026 term), Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Party Committee; Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region I; Vice President of the Group of Women Deputies to the 15th National Assembly of Vietnam.
