On January 16, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and extended New Year greetings to armed forces units and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Ha Long City. Accompanying him was Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee.
Visiting and wishing the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police a Happy New Year, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and endeavors of the Provincial Police force in the past year, always closely monitoring the situation, promoting the core role of advising local Party committees and authorities to strengthen the direction of ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area. Thereby, it has contributed to keeping the whole province safe, stable, developing, bringing peace and happiness to the people.
In order for people to have a peaceful and happy Tet At Ty, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the police force of the whole province maintain and seriously implement the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security and Quang Ninh province on ensuring security and order during and after Tet. Do not let situations and passive, unexpected factors arise that cannot be controlled, and maintain security and order along the land and sea borders.
On the occasion of the New Year, the Provincial Party Secretary sent his deep feelings, sincere wishes and trust to all officers and soldiers of Quang Ninh police, wishing them good health in the new year, achieving more achievements with the highest goal of keeping the area safe, stable and developing, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development and bringing peace and happiness to the people.
Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Party Secretary commended and acknowledged the results in all aspects of work that the unit has achieved in 2024, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, preventing sudden and unexpected situations from occurring.
Emphasizing the importance of the military force, the Provincial Party Secretary requested officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command to strictly carry out combat readiness tasks; absolutely not to be passive or surprised in any situation, especially during Tet; strengthen close coordination with forces to firmly protect the sovereignty of the border and islands; pay attention to ensuring the best material and spiritual life for soldiers to enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet happily, healthily and safely.
On the same day, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and the working delegation visited and wished Happy New Year to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc (Cao Xanh ward) and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuoc (Ha Phong ward), Ha Long city.
The Provincial Party Secretary kindly inquired about the lives and health of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of the families of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers for the cause of national independence. He wished the Mothers good health, happiness, and to always be an example for their children and the younger generations to follow.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province to continue promoting the tradition of “remembering the source of water when drinking”, actively implementing the Party and State’s policies for families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services; promptly supporting and creating favorable conditions for families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to celebrate Tet and enjoy a warm Spring.
On the occasion of preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and extended New Year greetings to former Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee: Comrade Nguyen Binh Giang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 9th and 10th terms; Comrade Ha Van Hien, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 11th term; Comrade Nguyen Van Quynh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 11th and 12th terms and Comrade Nguyen Duy Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 12th term. He also came to burn incense to pay tribute to and commemorate the late leaders of the province through the periods, namely comrades Nguyen Thi, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 6th term; Le Dai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 6th, 7th and 8th terms; Tran Ngoc Thu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 10th term.
