Since then, it has created motivation and promoted agencies and units in the district armed forces to successfully carry out the set goals and tasks, focusing on building a district armed force that is politically strong, well-trained, highly combat-ready, strictly disciplined, and safe. With proactive innovation and focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of political education and training, the Ham Thuan Bac District Military Command is regularly assessed as a unit that does a good job of grasping, managing, and accurately forecasting the situation. On the other hand, it continues to build cadres and soldiers with strong political will, high determination, strict discipline, and readiness to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

In addition, party organizations in the district armed forces also focus on building and improving leadership capacity and combat strength, associated with building strong and comprehensive "Exemplary and typical" agencies and units. At the same time, maintain good party activities, issue timely and focused leadership resolutions; promote discipline, proactively innovate the leadership style of party committees and commanders, and the exemplary role of cadres and party members. Strictly implement the principle of democratic centralism, promote self-criticism and criticism; promote the role and effectiveness of mass organizations; build solidarity and unity within the organization and solidarity between the army and the people.

Over the past year, the Military Command of Ham Thuan Bac district has advised the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee to lead and direct the implementation of local defense and military tasks, and excellently completed assigned political tasks. All emulation contents and targets were achieved and exceeded; excellently completed the task of combined defense and civil defense drills in the district; combat drills to defend communes and towns in 2023 to ensure absolute safety; organized training for militiamen reaching 99.31%. In 2023, Ham Thuan Bac district assigned troops to 100% of the target, including many contents exceeding the assigned target, especially sending party members to officially join the army reaching 1.93% (exceeding 0.93%).

At the same time, the Military Command of Ham Thuan Bac district also mobilized departments, branches, and organizations to contribute funds to repair 6 charity houses for ethnic minorities; built 2 "Military - People's Love" houses for families with special housing difficulties. Carefully organized visits and gifts for policy families, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and disadvantaged families in the area. Through assessment, the unit's internal solidarity and unity were high, there were no violations of discipline and law, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects. The Party Committee and mass organizations excellently completed their tasks, the unit achieved comprehensive strength "Exemplary, typical", and was the leading unit in the emulation cluster of Military Commands of districts, cities, and towns in the provincial armed forces. With its efforts and achievements, the Military Command of Ham Thuan Bac district is the only unit in the provincial armed forces to be awarded the Emulation Flag in 2023 by the Ministry of National Defense.
