On the morning of February 4 (the 7th day of the Lunar New Year), at the field of Doi Tin village, Tien Son commune, Duy Tien district People's Committee organized the Tich Dien festival in 2025.

After the ceremony of worshiping Than Nong to pray for a year of favorable weather and bountiful crops, there is a drum performance to open the festival by the women of Doi Tam drum village, Tien Son commune, combined with a dragon dance.

According to legend, the Tich Dien festival originated from the reign of King Le Dai Hanh, who valued agriculture and lived close to the people. Realizing that the Doi River mountain area had an important strategic position for the capital Hoa Lu, after ascending the throne, in the spring of Dinh Hoi year (987), King Le Dai Hanh and his mandarins plowed the fields to encourage people to expand their farms and stabilize their lives.

From many historical sources and folk research, the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) has developed a general scenario for the Tich Dien Doi Son festival. From 2009 to 2023, the Tich Dien Doi Son festival will be held based on this scenario, but with changes in the ritual of the king's spirit being carried out by a virtuous elder of the Doi Son region.
