On the afternoon of June 13, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Hoang Hai, Director of the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management (Ministry of Construction), said that a number of Construction Departments have reviewed documents and compiled a list of eligible projects to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and publication of the project list.
The Ministry of Construction has not received any feedback from businesses about the difficulty in completing procedures to borrow capital from the 120,000 billion VND package.
Of which, Binh Dinh has 6 projects with a total investment of nearly 5,350 billion VND, with a loan demand of more than 1,800 billion VND; Phu Tho has 3 projects with a total investment of 818 billion VND, with a loan demand of 441 billion VND; Da Nang has 3 projects with a total investment of about more than 2,000 billion VND, with a loan demand of nearly 550 billion VND; Tra Vinh has 2 projects with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND, with a loan demand of 420 billion VND; Bac Giang has 2 projects with a total investment of more than 6,100 billion VND, with a loan demand of more than 4,500 billion VND; Bac Ninh has 6 projects with a total investment of more than 14,500 billion VND, with a loan demand of nearly 3,400 billion VND...
These projects are being reviewed and approved by the Provincial People's Committee for announcement in the near future.
Regarding information in the press and public opinion related to the VND120,000 billion credit program, in which the biggest problem is that there are no projects to lend, Mr. Hai said that he has reviewed and contacted localities and investors directly. "In reality, the main reason is that: although there are 100 projects that have been granted construction permits, localities are in the process of synthesizing and announcing them; the remaining projects are mostly in the process of implementing investment procedures. To date, the Ministry of Construction has not received feedback from investors about difficulties related to loan procedures and documents," Mr. Hai said.
In the coming time, the Ministry of Construction will continue to coordinate with the State Bank of Vietnam and ministries, branches and localities to remove obstacles in mechanisms, policies and laws, effectively implement and promote the development of social housing and housing for workers in industrial parks. Continue to work with a number of key localities to inspect and urge the creation of social housing supply, workers' housing, apartment renovation and repair projects, and the implementation of the 120,000 billion VND support package.
