Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters of Hoang Tay commune

Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on the afternoon of April 15, the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Ha Nam province, including comrades: Pham Hung Thang, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Van Khai, Member who is a full-time National Assembly deputy at the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, met with voters of Hoang Tay commune (Kim Bang town). Also attending the meeting with voters were the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, provincial departments and branches; Party committees and authorities of Kim Bang town and Hoang Tay commune.

At the meeting point, the representative of the provincial National Assembly delegation announced the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of the activities of the Ha Nam Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 8th Session; the key tasks in the coming time; and the results of handling opinions and recommendations of Ha Nam province voters sent to the 8th Session.

Voters in Hoang Tay commune assessed that the upcoming 9th Session has historical significance with many particularly important contents, creating momentum for the country's development. Voters also expressed their agreement with the arrangement of administrative units, eliminating the district-level intermediary. Regarding this issue, voters suggested considering the arrangement of the new administrative unit's headquarters in a central location with convenient travel, creating conditions for people to carry out administrative procedures. There should be appropriate policies for non-professional officials when they retire due to the rearrangement of the political system's apparatus; there should be a plan to handle headquarters and public assets after the merger to avoid waste...

Speaking to receive and respond to opinions and recommendations of voters in Hoang Tay commune, comrade Pham Hung Thang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, affirmed that the voters' recommendations are very practical, for the common development of the homeland and the country. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will synthesize and honestly and fully reflect the opinions and recommendations of voters to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant central agencies for consideration and resolution.

Responding to concerns of voters and people about the policy of streamlining the political system, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also said that in the coming time, based on the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws, especially the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on administrative unit arrangement, the Provincial People's Committee will develop plans and projects to arrange commune-level administrative units, meeting the criteria, standards and principles as prescribed, while ensuring the principle of grassroots government being close to the people and serving the people best. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the application of information technology and infrastructure of commune-level government to facilitate people when they have to go to the commune People's Committee headquarters to work. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to fully implementing support policies for non-professional workers at the commune level who are redundant due to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.
