Startup Festival and Business Connection in Kon Tum

The University of Danang branch in Kon Tum organized a startup, job and business connection festival in 2025, attracting nearly 300 students, many businesses and 15 student project groups.

At the festival, many activities took place, such as launching the startup space, the final round of the "Startup Incubation" contest and awarding prizes to outstanding project groups; the program "Building digital luggage for students in the AI era"... The festival aims to concretize the training goals in the direction of application, comprehensively developing knowledge-skills-attitude for students, thereby connecting the school with the labor market; at the same time, spreading the startup movement in Kon Tum.

Gia Lai Solves Difficulties in Disbursing Public Investment Capital

Gia Lai province has been assigned a development investment capital plan of more than VND4,500 billion, including the capital norm for 2025 and capital transferred from 2024. Of which, the local budget is more than VND2,600 billion, the rest is from the central budget. However, up to now, there are still 12 districts and towns that have not fully allocated the assigned public investment capital plan, causing the disbursement rate to only reach more than 10%, lower than the set requirements.

Faced with this reality, Gia Lai province is synchronously implementing many drastic solutions. The province has established four special working groups led by Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, to focus on urging site clearance, adjusting compensation regulations and flexibly allocating capital, gradually removing bottlenecks in disbursing public investment capital.

Dak Lak Signed Memorandum of Cooperation with Koica Vietnam

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just signed a discussion memorandum with the Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam (KOICA Vietnam) on the Urban Drainage and Wastewater Treatment System Project in Buon Ho town. The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2029, with a total non-refundable aid budget from the Korean Government of 9.2 million USD. The Vietnamese Government will ensure the provision of sufficient capital, not exceeding 760,000 USD, necessary materials and human resources to fulfill the commitments as described, as well as for the project to operate autonomously and sustainably.

The project is implemented to reduce negative impacts on people's health, reduce environmental pollution caused by untreated wastewater before being discharged into the environment; promote industrialization and modernization in the town and contribute to the overall sustainable socio-economic development of Dak Lak province.

Allocating Tens of Billions of Dong to Repair National Highway 28 Through Dak Nong

From the central budget, Dak Nong will allocate 20 billion VND to prioritize the repair and upgrade of some items on National Highway 28, the section through Dak Nia commune, Gia Nghia city and the section through Quang Phu commune, Krong No district. The repair and renovation will be implemented from December 2024 and is expected to be completed in May 2025.

In 2025, the Vietnam Road Administration will allocate nearly VND27 billion to renovate and repair more than 5.5 km of National Highway 28 through Dak Nia commune, Gia Nghia city and Quang Khe commune, Dak Glong district. Dak Nong province will allocate nearly VND8.5 billion from road maintenance funds to locally repair some seriously damaged sections and routes that pose a risk of traffic safety. The repairs are expected to be completed in 2025. National Highway 28 through Dak Nong is 175 km long, passing through Krong No district, Gia Nghia city and Dak Glong before connecting with Lam Dong province.

Average Agricultural Production Value In Lam Dong Reaches 372 Million VND/Ha/Year

Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Environment informed that the total agricultural cultivation area in the locality is currently more than 337,900 hectares, accounting for nearly 92% of the total planned agricultural production land area; Of which, high-tech and smart technology agriculture is more than 72 thousand hectares; the production area with a value of less than 50 million VND/ha/year decreased to 17,200 hectares, thereby increasing the average production value to 372 million VND/ha/year, an increase of 1.9 times compared to 2020.

The province has 275 production chains formed, with the participation of 210 enterprises and 112 cooperatives; the rate of agricultural products consumed through the chain is more than 65% of the province's agricultural products. Brand building and development is focused on, with more than 400 OCOP products and 800 products using the brand "Da Lat - Miraculous crystallization from the good land", helping Lam Dong agricultural products affirm their position in 50 countries, with export value accounting for more than 50% of the province's export turnover.
