Hoa Lu Ancient Town recreates and restores the beauty of ancient Vietnamese architecture and culture, located on the campus of Ky Lan Mountain - Silver Pagoda, Tan Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City.
Visitingand experiencing Hoa Lu ancient town, delegates admired the unique traditional architecture and space, with tiled roof houses, wooden pillars, and colorful lantern decorations.
The space here also brings harmony between the past and the present, with booths displaying handicraft products from famous craft villages such as Bo Bat pottery, which left a special impression on delegates with the stylized patterns and images with unique touches of Ninh Binh's mountains and rivers on each product.
Many delegates enjoyed cultural and artistic activities such as: Music performances on Ky Lan Lake; enjoying Xam singing, bamboo dancing, etc.
At the culinary area, the UNESCO delegation had a deeper impression of the warm welcome of the province; the cheerful, optimistic spirit, the pride in the world heritage of those working in tourism, along with the service and dishes in Ninh Binh are also very interesting... just like the brand that Ninh Binh has received as "The friendliest destination in the world".
Delegates experienced boating in the middle of Ky Lan Lake, admiring the sparkling beauty of Hoa Lu walking street and Tu An tower at night.
Hoa Lu Ancient Town is a potential destination, contributing to the effort to turn Ninh Binh into a centrally-governed city with the characteristics of a Millennium Heritage City, a creative city...
Before that, the delegation visited and experienced Trang An eco-tourism area in Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - the only cultural and natural heritage of Southeast Asia, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014.
Pleased that the local community here always has the awareness and responsibility to join hands with local authorities and businesses to protect heritage, the Delegation expressed the hope that, based on sustainable development orientations and jointly implemented scientific projects, Ninh Binh will continue to preserve and promote heritage values associated with protecting the ecological environment and developing sustainable tourism; contributing to the good implementation of UNESCO's requirements and recommendations to preserve, promote and transfer intact the values of this world heritage to future generations.
The delegation's tour program is also a good opportunity for Ninh Binh to affirm and promote the image of tourism and people of the ancient capital with a thousand years of history and culture "Safe - Friendly - Attractive - Quality" to domestic and international friends. (Photo: Minh Duong)
