Hai Duong province delegation visited Tay Ninh to pay tribute

Comrades: Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council offered incense at Hill 82 Martyrs' Cemetery.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of March 29, the Hai Duong Provincial Working Group led by Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, returned to the source and visited and worked with the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

The delegation of the two provinces observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and noble international duty at the Hill 82 Martyrs' Cemetery.

Comrades: Nguyen Manh Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dai Thy, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council, and leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors welcomed and worked with the Hai Duong Provincial Delegation.

The delegation of Hai Duong province visited the Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery in Thanh Tay Commune, Tan Bien District. The Hill 82 Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of more than 15,000 martyrs from different periods of resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, martyrs of the Vietnamese volunteer army who sacrificed their lives in the war to protect the southwestern border, including nearly 400 martyrs from Hai Duong.

At the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, the Central Office for Southern Vietnam, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate his great contributions.

Here, leaders of the two provinces offered flowers, incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and the noble international duty.

Next, the delegation visited the special national relic site of the Central Office of the Southern Region in Tan Lap commune, Tan Bien district. Here, the delegates offered incense at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh and the stele house of the Central Office of the Southern Region.

Writing in the memorial book, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, wrote: "The Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong province would like to engrave, learn and follow the noble example of revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs to build our country more and more beautiful."

Leaders of Hai Duong and Tay Ninh provinces exchanged information on the socio-economic development situation of the two localities.

At the end of the activities on the source, the delegation of Hai Duong province had a working session with the leaders of Tay Ninh province. At the meeting, the leaders of the two provinces informed each other about the socio-economic development and political system building of the two localities in the recent past.

Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang congratulated Tay Ninh province on achieving many positive results, successfully completing socio-economic development goals and tasks in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025; hoping that in the coming time, the two provinces will continue to develop relations and cooperation in all fields, supporting each other to strive to successfully complete political tasks.
