TPO - Last week, southern provinces and cities, including Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, implemented many decisions to mobilize, assign and appoint key officials.

Director of Department of Home Affairs becomes Vice Chairman of HCMC People's Council

On the morning of March 14, at the 14th Session (special session), the delegates of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council dismissed Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan - Director of the Department of Home Affairs from the position of member of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. Afterwards, Mr. Nhan was elected Vice Chairman of the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Nhan was born in 1969, hometown Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. Qualifications: Master of Political Science, Bachelor of History, Bachelor of Administration, Bachelor of Political Theory.

Before holding the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nhan was Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc District, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc District, Secretary of the Thu Duc District Party Committee (now Thu Duc City), Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.

Dismissal of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council delegates To Thi Bich Chau and Tran Hai Yen

On the morning of March 14, the 14th Session (special session) of the 10th term, 2021-2026, dismissed a number of positions due to job transfers.

Accordingly, 100% of the delegates voted unanimously to dismiss Ms. To Thi Bich Chau - former Secretary of District 1 Party Committee, delegate of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, from her duties as a delegate to the 10th term of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council. Ms. Chau has just transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and holds the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The delegates also voted to dismiss Ms. Tran Hai Yen from the position of Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Committee of the 10th term of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, because Ms. Yen was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 11.

Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee receives additional tasks

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has just decided to establish a Working Group for land use rights auction in Dong Nai province.

The working group is headed by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Phi; Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is deputy head; and members are leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

The working group is responsible for making a list of land acquisitions and annual land use plans for land plots and plots that are expected to be auctioned for land use rights. Decision of Dong Nai Police Director on personnel work

At the same time, the Provincial Police Director also transferred Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Bac , Deputy Head of the Provincial Police Traffic Police Department, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Chuc , Deputy Head of the Internal Security Department, to hold the position of Deputy Head of Bien Hoa City Police.

On the morning of March 15, Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to appoint Mr. Tran Manh Toan - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Ms. Van Thanh Hiep - Secretary of the Ba Ria City Youth Union; Mr. Tran Van Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Phuoc Commune; Mr. Ho Nguyen Nhat - Head of the Economic Department of Ba Ria City to join the Executive Committee of the Ba Ria City Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, starting from January 19, 2024.

Appointing Mr. Pham Nguyen Khanh Duy - Party Secretary, Chairman of Long Tam Ward People's Committee to join the Executive Committee of Ba Ria City Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, from March 7, 2024.

Binh Duong mobilizes and appoints many key officials

On March 12, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee held a conference on personnel work.

Accordingly, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee has issued a decision to transfer Ms. Truong Thanh Nga - Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, President of the Provincial Women's Union to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and appointed her to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission from March 15, 2024.

Assign Ms. Vo Thi Bach Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee to work at the Provincial Women's Union and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Provincial Women's Union for the 2021 - 2026 term, from March 15, 2024.

Appoint Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri - Deputy Director of the Department of Justice of Binh Duong province to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council from March 2024.

Reappoint Mr. Le Van Thai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province and Mr. Huynh Pham Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction from March 1, 2024.

The conference also announced the Resolution of the meeting of the Board of Directors of Binh Duong Production - Import - Export Corporation on electing Mr. Nguyen An Dinh - member of the Board of Directors to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors; appointing Mr. Le Trong Nghia - member of the Board of Directors to hold the position of General Director from March 1, 2024.
