According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers, transporting goods from Vietnam to Russia has become more convenient. Russian shipping corporations have opened a direct shipping route from Ho Chi Minh City - Hai Phong - Vladivostok (Russia); some other shipping lines have operated new routes, helping to transport goods faster and with shorter shipping times.

Tariff incentives after our country signed the Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement in 2015 also helped Vietnamese agricultural products increase their competitiveness in this market, including Russia.
