To celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), Kim Dong Publishing House has just opened its first bookstore in Hue City at 16 Phan Boi Chau.
Mr. Tran Hoang, Director of Kim Dong Publishing House Branch in the Central Region said: “Building and operating a separate bookstore in Hue City is a plan that Kim Dong Publishing House has long had in mind.
Because Hue is a land of culture and learning, the center of the Central region with many large universities. Hue is also home to many artists and writers, and a large number of readers who love Kim Dong's books.

The bookstore with an area of nearly 120m², invested with modern equipment, beautiful interior design, creating a close and friendly space for readers, is a place where readers of Hue city in particular and neighboring provinces can directly access the latest publications of Kim Dong Publishing House.
On this occasion, Kim Dong Publishing House donated the Kim Dong Bookcase worth 20 million VND to the Library of Nguyen Chi Dieu Secondary School (11 Dong Da, Phu Nhuan, Hue), and donated more than 50 books by Hue authors, written about the history, culture, and people of Hue, published by Kim Dong Publishing House, to the Hue Book and Culture Club.
For readers, from November 11 to November 25, Kim Dong Bookstore 16 Phan Boi Chau, Hue City applies a promotional program with discounts from 15% to 70% on all books, along with gifts for each order.
Also on the occasion of the bookstore opening, Kim Dong Publishing House coordinated with the Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports, Hue Book and Culture Club to organize the program "Hue people tell Hue stories", exchanging with writer, journalist Phi Tan and writer, researcher Le Vu Truong Giang, on the occasion of the book launch "Hue people tell Hue stories" and "Students on the other side of Tam Giang lagoon".
These are two authors born and raised in Hue, with a love for the ancient capital and always conscious of cherishing and preserving the values that have made up the land and people here.
Ms. Vu Thi Quynh Lien, Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of Kim Dong Publishing House, shared: “Kim Dong Bookstore at 16 Phan Boi Chau, Hue City was built with the desire to contribute to the development of reading culture in Hue City and surrounding areas.
