National Economics University announced the benchmark scores for combining international English certificates with 2023 graduation exam scores and considering specialized school students.

Accordingly, the method of considering combining international English certificates with 2023 high school graduation exam scores (abbreviated as DT4) has the following calculation formula: Admission score = (Certificate conversion score + 2 subject exam scores) x 30/35 + advantage points (if any).

For the method of considering candidates for specialized programs and specialized schools, the scoring formula is as follows: Admission score = 6-term transcript score + 2 exam scores + priority points (if any).

National Economics University notes that candidates who meet the admission requirements still need to register and adjust their wishes appropriately to be admitted on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training from July 10 to July 30.

This year, the National Economics University will enroll 6,200 students. Of these, graduation exam scores account for only 25% of the target, 73% are for combined admission methods according to the school's own project, and 2% are for direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school.

The school has announced early admission scores with three methods: admission using international SAT or ACT certificates (DT1); using test scores to assess ability and thinking (DT2) and admission combining English certificates with test scores to assess ability and thinking (DT3).

Accordingly, in the DT1 method, the highest benchmark score for International Business is 28.13, some benchmark scores above 27 are E-commerce, Auditing, Logistics and supply chain management, Data science in economics and business.

With the DT2 method, the benchmark score ranges from 18 to 24. Logistics and Supply Chain Management have the highest scores, followed by International Business with 23.43. These are also the two majors with the highest benchmark scores with the DT3 method, with 23.71 and 23.66 points, respectively.

This evening (July 21), this school also announced the minimum admission score based on the 2023 high school graduation exam results from 20 points or higher, applicable to all majors.

Associate Professor Dr. Bui Duc Trieu, Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University, predicted that the standard score based on the graduation exam results this year would not decrease much compared to last year, maybe around 0.25 - 0.5 points, depending on the major code.

As for "hot" majors such as Marketing, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, in 2022 the benchmark score was over 28, and this year it is difficult to increase it higher. Candidates can refer to the benchmark score in 2022 as a basis to adjust their wishes accordingly, Mr. Trieu noted.
