Quang Ninh always identifies tourism as one of the key economic sectors, prioritizing investment and development. In fact, the province has been investing in the right direction as the tourism industry is increasingly developing, contributing to the economic growth of Quang Ninh and creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers in the area. In order for tourism to continue to grow rapidly, Quang Ninh is actively diversifying and promoting tourism, thereby attracting more domestic and foreign tourists to destinations in the province.
To increase the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism, recently, Comrade Cao Tuong Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with Vietravel Tourism & Aviation Group on promoting cooperation in tourism development. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that with the experience, potential and ecosystem of Vietravel, they will continue to accompany, support, consult, invest in building competitive tourism products, increase the attractiveness of Quang Ninh tourism, strengthen the promotion of destinations both domestically and internationally, making Quang Ninh a tourism center connecting the region and the world.
Respectfully receiving and working with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of Vietravel Tourism & Aviation Group affirmed that Quang Ninh has always been one of the key tourist destinations that Vietravel focuses on exploiting. The unit will continue to research the direction of exploiting Van Don International Airport effectively in the future. At the same time, take advantage of culinary cultural values to form culinary tourism products with strong local characteristics; deploy the Go Green campaign with green tourism experiences, sustainable tourism.

For example, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association (Vietnam) and the Jeju Island Tourism Association (Korea) have just organized a Jeju - Quang Ninh tourism connection program. The two sides signed a cooperation agreement to promote the development of common tourism products, thereby promoting the exchange of tourists between the parties, and discussed the launch and development of flights from Jeju Island to Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh.
Or the Quang Ninh Tourism Promotion Delegation including representatives of the Department of Tourism, the Tourism Promotion Information Center, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association, and tourism businesses participated in the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi 2024. In particular, the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism and the Ha Long City Business Association jointly launched the website amazinghalong.vn and the tiktok Food Tour Quang Ninh channel. The website amazinghalong.vn is the first website in Quang Ninh to integrate digital tourism map technology, allowing visitors to easily search for entertainment, relaxation and exploration spots in Quang Ninh. The website integrates modern digital technologies such as: Digital maps, virtual reality images; augmented reality helps visitors find detailed information and images, optimizing travel schedules in Quang Ninh. The website connects directly to the tiktok Food tour Quang Ninh channel to introduce visitors to addresses and information about restaurants, eateries, and local specialties.
As a locality with great potential to develop a “smokeless industry” with diverse experiences such as: Cultural - historical - spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, sea and island tourism, village - border tourism... with beautiful natural landscapes, friendly and hospitable people, Quang Ninh has been and is a destination chosen by many tourists.
With a diversity of destinations, experiences, entertainment, and the promotion of tourism, Quang Ninh is determined to achieve the set goal of attracting at least 17 million tourists, including 3 million international visitors in 2024.
