Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee received the Swiss Chamber of Commerce

On the morning of April 10, at the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, Comrade Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, received and worked with Mr. Roger Leitner, Chairman and General Director of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC), on exploring investment promotion opportunities in Bac Ninh. Also attending was Comrade Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Overview of the work program

Welcoming the delegation of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce to visit and work in Bac Ninh province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Huong Giang said that during the visit and work with the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce in Zurich on March 27, the two sides exchanged information on the economic, cultural and social development of Bac Ninh province and the areas focusing on promoting investment attraction in the province. Expressing confidence in the relationship between Bac Ninh and Switzerland, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hoped that SACC would continue to be a bridge, introducing potential Swiss enterprises to invest in Bac Ninh, based on the strengths of both sides, cooperating and developing together.

Thanking Bac Ninh province for the warm welcome, Mr. Roger Leitner expressed his impression of Bac Ninh's high-tech industrial ecosystem, and hoped that the two sides would continue to promote the development of small and medium enterprises; implement a coordination plan with the Swiss-Vietnam Economic Forum (SVEF); Strengthen cooperation in the fields of finance, technology and textiles; establish a free trade zone, build a green steel factory, finance, and urban development. He hoped that Bac Ninh province would study and promote cooperation in implementing projects to build a green steel factory, train human resources, and build a plastic recycling factory.

Regarding this issue, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huong Giang requested SACC to provide detailed information of the projects and assigned the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to be the focal point for resolution.
