The total capital of the national target programs for sustainable poverty reduction in the 2021-2025 period allocated to the whole province is more than 130 billion VND. Of which, public investment capital is more than 10.1 billion VND and career capital is nearly 120 billion VND, of which more than 106 billion VND has been allocated to date.

After more than 4 years of implementation, the allocation and guidance on the use of capital sources for the national target program on poverty reduction have been implemented promptly, focused and effectively by departments, branches and localities. In particular, capital sources are mainly focused on projects such as: Diversifying livelihoods, developing poverty reduction models; supporting production development, improving nutrition; developing vocational education and sustainable employment; communicating and reducing information on poverty; enhancing capacity and monitoring and evaluating the program.

The projects have helped thousands of poor households overcome difficulties, increase their income, stabilize their lives and gradually escape poverty. In addition to the achieved results, there are still some difficulties and problems such as capital allocation not meeting requirements and slow disbursement progress.

In her concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh said: In recent times, the province's poverty reduction programs have achieved great results, especially the Program to reduce 1,000 poor ethnic minority households. As a result, many localities have seen a sharp reduction in the poverty rate, and some localities no longer have any poor households.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh requested departments, branches and localities to promptly complete the detailed poverty reduction plan before April 15; focus on paying attention to people with disabilities, poor households, near-poor households, and households that have just escaped poverty to have truly effective support plans; review to ensure that capital sources are used in accordance with actual requirements, for the right subjects, and without waste. The Department of Agriculture and Environment is preparing to advise the provincial leaders after the province is merged, the new apparatus comes into operation to avoid interruptions in capital allocation in 2026. The Department of Health needs to review the difficulties and problems related to the Nutrition Improvement Project to have timely and effective support plans for subjects in the coming time./.
