In 2025 and the following years, many large tourism real estate projects will be implemented in the city. This is an opportunity for the tourism industry to develop in the face of strong competition from regional destinations as well as the increasing demands of tourists.

In recent times, the city has completed a modern, synchronous infrastructure system along with a system of professional, high-quality tourism facilities. In particular, attracting strategic investors such as Sun Group, Vingroup, DHC, BRG Group, Mikazuki ... has contributed significantly to changing the face of Da Nang tourism. Da Nang has many international-class tourism brands and famous domestic and international resort destinations such as InterContinental, Novotel, Hyatt, Vinpearl, Pullman, Hilton, Sheraton, Ba Na Hills.

According to statistics, in 2011, the whole city had only 260 accommodation establishments with 8,736 rooms; in 2017, it increased to 693 accommodation establishments with 28,780 rooms, but by the end of 2024, Da Nang had 1,290 tourist accommodation establishments with 46,527 rooms, of which 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments were 110 establishments with 21,293 rooms (the number of establishments classified as 4-5 stars was 70 establishments). In 2024 alone, the city will have a number of additional 5-star hotels, apartments, and coastal resorts opening: Radisson RED Da Nang, Signature by M Village Da Nang Heritage, Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang, Crowne Plaza Danang City Centre, etc.

In 2025, the city will have many major projects starting construction such as the Lang Van Resort and Entertainment Project, the Asia Park Complex, the International Fireworks Complex project worth over 40,000 billion VND... By 2030, Da Nang International Airport aims to plan and invest in developing a number of important projects in the direction of expanding and upgrading the airport to a capacity of 25-30 million passengers/year; including expanding Terminal T1 to the southeast, investing in the construction of a new domestic Terminal T3 with a capacity of 15 million passengers/year.

Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang City Tourism Association, acknowledged that the city possesses all four types of railways, roads, airways, and waterways, creating advantages in trade, tourism, and logistics. The city also has favorable conditions for accommodation infrastructure and top-class tourism services in Vietnam and Asia. In the future, Tien Sa port will become a tourist port, along with the formation of a free trade zone, a regional and international financial center in Vietnam, creating opportunities for the creation of high-quality, reputable shopping centers to serve tourists. However, to compete with localities and countries in the region, the city needs to have specific policies and mechanisms to attract investment in tourism development, attract cruise tourism, and international-class commercial and entertainment centers.

Regarding infrastructure investment, according to the Department of Tourism, the city has many policies and strategies for tourism development, including decisions and plans to create a foundation to improve the quality of accommodation facilities and invest in infrastructure for the tourism industry such as Decision No. 190/QD-UBND dated January 17, 2020 of the City People's Committee on approving the project on Orientation for the development of the tourism accommodation system in Da Nang city for the period 2020-2030; Plan No. 2984/KH-UBND dated May 7, 2020 of the City People's Committee on implementing the topic "Focusing on developing high-quality tourism and services associated with resort real estate; building Da Nang into a leading tourism and service destination, regional level, event city, international conference center".

Implementing Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP dated May 18, 2023 of the Government on key tasks and solutions to accelerate recovery and accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development in Da Nang city, the tourism industry urges and implements public investment projects to support tourism development such as the River of Light project, landscape investment on both sides of the Han River, landscape investment on the coastal route of Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa, Bach Dang - Nguyen Van Troi - Tran Hung Dao walking street...

At the same time, promote investment promotion activities, attract investment in tourism infrastructure projects, high-end resorts, entertainment complexes, golf courses, large-scale exhibition and conference centers, trade centers, retail services to attract domestic and international tourists; remove difficulties for investors; study mechanisms to increase land use efficiency to create conditions for key/motivational projects to create tourism products to be invested in the right direction.

The goal by 2030 is to turn Da Nang into a high-quality tourism and service center, a creative destination in Vietnam and Southeast Asia; by 2045, the city will become a leading tourist destination in Asia, one of the centers for high-class, creative, green, smart, eco-tourism and sea resort tourism, and organize international conferences, events and festivals.
