(Dan Tri) - Caught red-handed by the police while illegally exploiting and transporting soil, a group of "soil bandits" in Hoa Binh barricaded themselves in their vehicle, refused to cooperate with the work, and dumped the soil in the truck's trunk.
On November 1, Hoa Binh Provincial Police said that professional units of the provincial police had just arrested a group of subjects illegally exploiting and transporting soil in Luong Son district.

Previously, the Director of Hoa Binh Provincial Police received complaints from people about illegal exploitation and transportation of soil in Xuan Duong village, Thanh Cao commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province.
Immediately afterwards, the Director of Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department directed the Police Department to investigate crimes related to corruption, economics, smuggling, and the environment, in coordination with professional units and Luong Son District Police to investigate and clarify the case.
At around 1:20 a.m. on October 30, the police caught a group of people using excavators and trucks to illegally exploit and transport soil at Roc 9 hill, Xuan Duong village, Thanh Cao commune, Luong Son district.

At the time of the inspection, the police force discovered 3 excavators and 10 trucks transporting soil at the site of the soil exploitation. When discovered, some subjects barricaded themselves in the vehicles, did not cooperate with the work, and dumped the excavated soil from the truck bed to obstruct and cause difficulties for the police force.
By professional measures, the forces controlled and required the subjects to comply.
Initial investigation results determined that there were 15 subjects involved in soil exploitation and transportation. At the time of discovery, the subjects were unable to provide or present records and documents related to soil exploitation activities.

The police force requested to stop all mining activities at Roc 9 hill, temporarily seized all vehicles, machinery used to commit the violation and related documents.
