Minister of Public Security attends national security protection festival in Hoa Binh

On August 2, Phong Phu commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province, organized the National Day for National Security Protection (NDS) in 2024. This is the unit that organizes the festival in Hoa Binh province.

Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; Mr. Nguyen Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, and leaders of Hoa Binh province attended the festival with local people.

Phong Phu commune has over 92% of the population being Muong ethnic people, this place is known as the cultural cradle of Muong Bi region. In recent years, the locality has effectively promoted advanced models and typical examples in the TDBVANTQ movement.

Up to now, Phong Phu commune has no complex crime, drug and social evil hotspots. The locality has been transformed from a key complex area in terms of security and order in Hoa Binh.

At the festival, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang acknowledged, commended and congratulated the results and achievements in the work of building the TDBVANTQ movement of Hoa Binh province in general, and the government and people of Phong Phu commune, Tan Lac district in particular.

The Minister of Public Security suggested that in the coming time, Party committees and authorities in Hoa Binh province should promote the achieved results, continue to pay attention to leading and directing the effective implementation of the TDBVANTQ movement in conjunction with other emulation movements.

The Minister requested that it is necessary to take care of building a force to protect public order and security at the grassroots level. Mr. Bui Van Khanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province, said that the National Defense and Security Day is an important political event. In recent years, the Party committees and authorities of Hoa Binh province have focused on leading and directing the innovation of the content and organization of the annual festival towards the grassroots level, ensuring practicality and effectiveness.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province requested Tan Lac district in general and Phong Phu commune in particular to continue to strictly and effectively implement directive documents on ensuring security and order and building the movement for national defense and security.

The police force needs to proactively grasp the situation related to ensuring security and order, at the same time, closely coordinate with departments, branches, organizations and mobilize the strength of the entire population. Based on the results of organizing the provincial festival, districts and cities should study, learn from experience and effectively implement the National Defense and Security Festival in their localities.
