The entrance exam for grade 10 at Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted took place all day on June 1. After the Literature and Math exams in the morning, students took the specialized subject exam at 2:30 p.m., with a duration of 120 minutes.
The admission score is the total score of three subjects, in which the specialized subject is multiplied by a coefficient of two. The University of Education High School for the Gifted does not add priority points to all candidates.
With about 6,100 candidates participating, the entrance exam to grade 10 of the National University of Education High School was the most crowded since 2018.
The Math class received 836 applications, while the quota was 70, so the competition ratio was nearly 1/12. The IT class received fewer applications, but because it only recruited 35 students, the competition ratio was 1/19.5.
Results will be announced before July 31.
